Who are we?

At the beginning...

Under the aegis of a large group of industrial and commercial companies, the woodwork depot CMI, situated in Pacé in Brittany, was ready to shut up shop at the end of the 1980s. But they didn’t take into account the obstinacy of the team! They began a new business designing and selling “wooden” articles and became...Cerland. 

In 1992, the Cerland team, made up of six people, used autoclave-treated wood trimmings from factories in Saint Malo; Cerland is one of the first to use this material to create outdoor constructions like its garden edging. Success came very quickly and the raw materials became scarce. Cerland therefore imports wood from Poland. Two years later, having moved to Cesson-Sévigné in Brittany, the Cerland brand has grown (over 100 people) and its products have won over the big names in outdoor constructions. In 1997, Cerland set up in Bruz, Brittany. In 2001, it launched a new product, which would become the emblem of its catalogue: the wooden swimming pool…
